# Edit Equipment Mailbox

This page changes the details and booking behaviour of an equipment mailbox. It is reached from the **Edit Equipment** action on [Equipment](/user-documentation/email/management/equipment.md), and opens with the mailbox's current settings filled in.

**Basic Information**

| Field                     | Description                                                                                      |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Display Name | The name the equipment is listed under in the address list. Required. |
| Hidden From Address Lists | Keeps the equipment out of the address list, so it can still be booked directly but not browsed. |

**Booking Information**

| Field                              | Description                                                                                                                                                                       |
| ---------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Maximum Booking Duration (Minutes) | The longest single booking allowed. Set it to `0` for no limit. |
| Booking Window (Days) | How far ahead the equipment can be booked, up to 1080 days. |
| Booking Process | How requests are handled: **None** leaves them for a delegate to answer, **AutoUpdate** accepts or declines without deleting, and **AutoAccept** accepts and deletes the request. |
| Allow Recurring Meetings | Whether the equipment can be booked on a repeating basis. |
| Allow Double-Booking | Whether two bookings may overlap. Off means a clashing request is declined. |
| Process External Meetings | Whether requests from outside the organisation are handled automatically rather than declined. |
| Forward to Delegates | Whether requests are passed on to the mailbox's delegates. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.cipp.app/user-documentation/email/management/equipment/edit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
